The primary reasons to complete Crystal Slayer tasks are:

* '''Crystal Shards''' - These can be crushed with a pestle and mortar to create dust, which is used to make divine potions
* '''Crystalline Keys''' - Can be used to challenge Hunleff or sold on the Grand Exchange
* '''Crystal Armor''' - Powerful gear with unique bonuses

The biggest reason to do this slayer is because of the following drops:

Crystal shards, these can be crushed with a pestal and mortar to create dust. Dust can be used to create divine potions.
Crystalline key, a key that can be used to challenge Hunleff for a Hunleff key or alternatively be sold on the Grand Exchange.
Crystal armor.

These keys can also be upgraded through ::upgrade or in home at the anvil, this will set you back 5m but you don't have to challenge Hunleff.

'''The Hunleff fight'''

This fight is a bit tricky and you need to be prepared once you enter this instance there is no going back or you'll lose your key.

To fight Hunleff you need atleast 2 combat styles like melee and ranged. I'd advise at least barrows/ void before trying this fight, since there is no 100% surefire way to protect yourself from damage and of course attack Hunleff with the style he isn't praying against.

After a certain amount of damage Hunleff will change prayer and you'll have to switch your style (see attached GIF).

When starting this fight Hunleff will always start with protect from melee, so you should start with your ranged gear.

Inventory wise, I'd advise to make sure you are potted (with either an overload/ divine super combat and divine ranging / regular super combat and ranging potion), and that you are sure that you have enough prayer/ super restores and food.

Once you killed Hunleff you will get a Hunleff key, which opens the red chest at the Crystal Caverns.
You can use a 15% chest rate here to increase your chances!
