# Tombs of Amascut (TOA) Guide

## Introduction


The Tombs of Amascut is a high-level raid designed for group play, though experienced players with near-maxed gear can attempt it solo. This comprehensive guide will walk you through each section of the raid, explaining boss mechanics and recommended strategies.
TOA is a high level raid, doable in groups but not recommended for solo unless you have near to max gear.


### Getting Started
You can get there by using ::toa or opening the spellbook -> minigames -> Tombs of Amascut.


**Location Access:**
Before you enter you need to make a party or join one, just like the other raids.
* Use the command `::toa`
* Alternatively, navigate through Spellbook → Minigames → Tombs of Amascut


**Before Entry:**
You will need melee aswell as ranged to complete this raid, my advise is to atleast have void/ crystal and a solid melee weapon like rapier/ tentacle whip.
* You must create or join a party before entering, similar to other raids
* Prepare both melee and ranged equipment (minimum recommended: Void/Crystal armor and a solid melee weapon like Rapier or Tentacle whip)


### Raid Structure
Once you enter you will see 5 entrances and 4 you are able to enter right away, being:


Upon entering, you'll find 5 paths:
Path of Het
* Path of Het
Path of Crondis
* Path of Crondis
Path of Scabaras
* Path of Scabaras
Path of Apmeken
* Path of Apmeken
* The Wardens (unlocked after completing the four other paths)


**Important:** After each boss fight, a ghost will appear. Right-click it and select "Proceed" to continue.
Once you've done there you can enter the last one and enter the fight with the wardens.

## Path of Het - Akkha


**Combat Information:**

* **Boss Attack Style:** Melee
* **Recommended Prayer:** Protect from Melee


**Strategy:**
Maintain your protection prayer throughout the fight and be prepared for Akkha's special attack. When he slams his spear into the ground, four symbols will illuminate in sequence, indicating the order in which you should stand on them.

## Path of Crondis - Zebak


**Combat Information:**

* **Recommended Prayer:** Protect from Magic or Ranged (alternating)


**Strategy:**
Combat style: Melee
Keep your protection prayers active and switch them accordingly. Move out of poison pools promptly.
Protection Prayer: Melee


**Important:** Be aware that Zebak's attacks hit **TWICE** - first when exploding in the center, and again when the projectile reaches you.
This fight isn't that special just keep your prayer up and prepare for his special attack.

## Path of Scabaras - Kephri


**Combat Information:**

* **Boss Attack Style:** Melee
* **Recommended Prayer:** None required


**Strategy:**
This is a more complex fight requiring constant movement to avoid Kephri's abilities:


1. **Single orange ball:** Sidestep to avoid 35 damage
2. **Explosive orange ball:** Creates an outward explosion dealing 35 damage
3. **Falling boulders:** Incapacitate you and deal 45 damage


All attacks display their landing location, allowing you to move away in time.

## Path of Apmeken - Ba-Ba
Combat style: Ranged
Protection prayer: Mage/ Range


**Combat Information:**
This fight isn't that special just keep your prayer up, change it accordingly and move out of the poison.
* **Boss Attack Style:** Melee
* **Recommended Prayer:** Protect from Melee/Ranged (switch as needed)


**Strategy:**
Though beware that his attacks hit '''TWICE''' first upon exploding in the middle and second the projectile reaching you.
Ba-Ba employs several different attacks:


1. **Falling boulders:** Deal approximately 40 damage but can be avoided by sidestepping
2. **Thrown boulder:** Switch from Protect from Melee to Protect from Ranged to negate damage
3. **Red projectiles from sarcophagi:** Land randomly - track their trajectories to stand where they won't hit

## The Wardens (Elidinis & Tumeken)

### Phase 1 - Obelisk


**Combat Information:**
* **Attack Style:** Melee
* **Recommended Prayer:** None


**Strategy:**
The Obelisk can summon flying pyramids. Position yourself between them to avoid damage. After destroying the Obelisk, you'll need to manage both the Warden and Obelisk attacks simultaneously.


### Phase 2 - Elidinis Warden

**Combat Information:**
Combat style: Melee
* **Attack Style:** Ranged
Protection prayer: none needed
* **Recommended Prayer:** Protect from Range/Magic (switch as needed)


**Warden Attacks:**
This fight gets a lot more complicated and you need to make sure you keep dodging all of his abilities, his attacks are:
1. **Flying swords:** Use Protect from Ranged to negate damage
2. **Flying skulls:** Use Protect from Magic to negate damage


**Simultaneous Obelisk Attacks:**
Single orange ball that you need to sidestep or deals 35 damage.
* **Red orb:** Negate with Protect from Magic
Orange ball that leaves an outgoing explosion dealing 35 damage.
* **Red skulls with lightning:** Damage in a 5×5 area, move away to avoid
Falling boulders that incapacitate you and deal 45 damage.

All these attacks show where they are going to land, so you can/ should move out of the way.


### Phase 3 - Tumeken's Warden


**Combat Information:**
* **Attack Style:** Ranged
* **Recommended Prayer:** Protect from Range/Magic (switch as needed)


**Warden Attacks:**

1. **Flying rocks:** Use Protect from Ranged to negate damage
2. **Flying skulls:** Use Protect from Magic to negate damage


The Obelisk continues its previous attack patterns during this phase.

Introduction
